Silver Leaves Pendant

The first step in creating the Silver Leaves Pendant was etching.  We etched the leaves design into 20 gauge .935 Argentium Sterling Silver. Also, we etched the bail.  Second, we set the Morrisonite Jasper cabochon.  For this, we handcrafted a 28 gauge Argentium Silver bezel.  Next, we set the Carnelian and Peridot cabochons in 30 gauge Argentium silver bezel cups. Third, we enhanced the etched areas with a blackened patina. Finally, for the wearer we added a hand scribed unique design on the back of the pendant.

The Silver Leaves Pendant measures 1-3/4″ x 1-1/4″. We sell our Argentium Sterling Silver chains separately. Please click on this link “Chains” to view the selection.

NOTE: This pendant has earrings that match. Please see Item #1555 in the Earrings menu.

We sign every piece of our jewelry on the back.  Aso, we stand behind our workmanship. You are welcome to use our “Contact Us” form to ask questions or make suggestions.  Likewise, you can inquire about special requests or possible commissions.

An English professor of silversmithing invented Argentium sterling silver  in 1996.   Traditional sterling silver has a pure silver content of 92.5%.  In contrast, Argentium has a pure silver content of 93.5%.  A small amount of the element germanium replaces some of the copper. As a result, this new sterling silver is highly tarnish resistant, more workable and harder than traditional sterling silver.  Many people who are allergic to traditional sterling silver can wear Argentium sterling silver without a problem.
